Meet the Test Providers: ACER, Edutest & AAS

Australian scholarship tests are primarily conducted by three independent organizations. Understanding their differences is key to a successful preparation strategy.

The Balanced Assessment

Edutest provides a balanced evaluation of both innate ability (reasoning) and academic achievement (school curriculum). The questions are often considered more direct and straightforward than ACER.

One Test Policy

A student can only sit for an Edutest exam once per exam cycle. The result is shared with all Edutest schools the student applies to.

Ability vs. Achievement

Separately tests for potential (Verbal/Numerical Reasoning) and learned skills (Reading/Maths).
